How to Rebirth in Merge a Spinner

Rebirth is the long loop in Merge a Spinner. The official description is blunt: rebirth unlocks benefits and exclusive spinners. That means a developed lane is not the endgame. The endgame is a spawn floor so high that your first purchase after a reset is already a raid-capable top. This page is how you get there without throwing away a timed boost or a raid chest.

If your board is still two blue starters, do not rebirth. Finish getting started and raise spawn tier first.

What rebirth is for

A rebirth trades current coins, most placed tops, and the current wave progress for a permanent bump: exclusive spinner access, a multiplier, or a higher spawn floor. Exact numbers move with patches — check the September 2026 update notes — but the shape of the deal does not. You are buying a better next run, not a trophy screen.

Exclusive spinners sit at the top of the tier list. They are the snake-green and ice-crystal silhouettes from the key art: shapes you cannot shop on a fresh plot. What you keep and what you lose

Keep, in almost every Flapjack-style tycoon:

• Group and like bonuses from group rewards.
• Gamepasses if you bought any.
• Rebirth count and the exclusives already unlocked.
• Sometimes a percentage of offline multiplier.

Lose:

• Coins sitting in the HUD.
• Placed spinners that are not marked permanent.
• An active timed boost, in any useful sense, because the board it was feeding just vanished.

If a code just paid a 10-minute 2x coin buff, spend the buff, then rebirth. The rebirth checklist exists so you do not reset with a full timer and an empty shop.

When the math says yes

Rebirth when all of these are true:

1. The next spawn-tier upgrade costs more than you will earn in a comfortable session.
2. You already cleared at least one raid on this run, or you are clearly blocked from raids by missing an exclusive.
3. You have spent the current coin pile on merges, not left it parked.
4. No timed boost is running.
5. You can name the exclusive or multiplier you are buying. “I feel stuck” is not a reason.

If three of those fail, merge instead. The merge planner will usually show a cheaper pair that still raises damage.

How to press the button without panic

1. Clear the current wave so you are not rebirth during a leak.
2. Spend leftover coins on the last spawn-tier tick you can afford.
3. Screenshot or note your highest spinner so you know what “catching up” means after the reset.
4. Hit Rebirth on the HUD — it is a shop or rebirth pad with a proximity prompt on some plots. Confirm the modal. Controls if the prompt does not fire.
5. On the new plot, buy the highest spawn the new floor allows, place two, merge once, and rebuild the front slot. Do not wander the lobby.

After the first rebirth

Your first exclusive goes to the contact point of the lane. Everything else is fodder until it matches. Offline earnings should jump if the multiplier landed; confirm on the offline farming page. Then ignore rebirth until the five-point list is true again. Chain-rebirthing because a video said “auto rebirth” is how you own a shiny exclusive and a lane that still leaks.
